11 Plus Courses and Mock CEM 11 Plus Test Sessions

For pupils in Year 5 of primary school, Beaconsfield School of English provides One to One (private tuition) CEM 11 Plus courses including an intensive 4-week 11 Plus Summer School in August. These courses are suitable for pupils attending primary schools in or near Beaconsfield.
Our CEM 11 Plus courses cover all three parts of the Buckinghamshire and Slough Consortium of Grammar Schools CEM 11 Plus tests: Verbal Reasoning, Non-Verbal Reasoning and Mathematical Reasoning. A major aim of the course is to help students develop their Verbal Reasoning skills, as this part of the 11 Plus test accounts for around 50% of the total marks. The School also provide online 11 Plus courses for pupils anywhere in the UK who are preparing for the 11 Plus. Our 11 Plus Practice Tests portal provides an unlimited supply of tests in English, Vocabulary, Verbal Reasoning, Maths and Non-Verbal Reasoning. The practice tests are particularly suitable for children taking the CEM-style 11 Plus.
Beaconsfield School of English also provides Mock CEM 11 Plus Test Sessions for Bucks and Berks schools. The Mock Test Sessions are held in Beaconsfield between May and August. Each Test Session comprises two Mock CEM 11 Plus Tests with recorded instructions, mirroring the real Bucks and Berks CEM 11 Plus.

English for Au Pairs

English for Au Pairs is a part-time course for au pairs living in or near Beaconsfield in South Buckinghamshire. The course is suitable for au pairs who already have a good level of English language (CEFR B1-B2) and who want to further improve their skills. The lessons take place in Beaconsfield on Wednesday and Friday mornings and run from September to July.
