fit'N'up Personal Training, set up and run by Paul Joseph, is a new Personal Training Company in the Estoril, Cascais-Sintra area.

Paul has spent most of his life involved in sports of one type or another from the normal squash and swimming at school to biathlons and mountain biking. He also has a keen interest in the martial arts attaining a black belt in Aikido, also studying wing chun (kung fu) and Muay Thai (Thai boxing).
After attaining a Diploma in fitness training and sports therapy from Premier training, one of the best training organisations in the UK, Paul began building a large and varied client base in the London area.
fit'N'up offer a range of services, from individual weight loss programmes and nutritional consultations to sports specific programmes for rugby, hockey, and triathlons and has recently designed the fit'N'up4golf programme for golfers who want to get that extra yard or two. Paul also has programmes for mature adults and people with cardio and respiratory problems. He is also trained to advise on stress management and lifestyle changes. As a qualified Sports massage therapist, Paul can also assist you in the rehabilitation and repair of most sports related injuries and where necessary give pre and post sport massage treatments.
All new clients have an introductory consultation; this is where Paul can find out a bit more about your fitness aims and goals, your general health (exercise history, past physical activity) and medical history (injuries, illnesses and any medications etc). It also allows Paul to find out whether or not you and he are able to work together. The next session is always a Fitness Assessment; this enables Paul to design a safe and effective fitness programme specifically for the client. It consists of cardiovascular and muscle strength tests, blood pressure and heart rate tests, body fat and weight checks. Once Paul has designed your programme, he is always there to motivate and guide you, ensure you are exercising correctly and give you positive feedback and progress reports.
