It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to Weatherhead High School, a happy, caring and vibrant community where our students take centre stage. As the Headteacher of Weatherhead High School I would like to assure you that we have extremely high expectations and aspirations for all members of our school community and together share an ambition for Weatherhead High School to be one of the best schools in the country. We are a school that will never stand still, with an ethos of hard work, aspiration and success delivered through a culture of nurture, support and encouragement where students respect each other and grow in confidence and resilience.

The school prides itself on encouraging our young people to aspire to excellence in everything they do, whether that be academic excellence, a passion and enthusiasm for the creative and performing arts, sporting prowess, or student leadership. A broad and challenging curriculum sits alongside a stimulating and rewarding range of extra-curricular activities and these elements of school life combine to develop inquisitive, confident, dynamic and successful young people ready for their future lives as global citizens. Our staff are dedicated, passionate and fully committed to ensuring all students are able to achieve their full potential academically, socially and emotionally so they can lead productive and happy lives.
