Development Transport Services are transport planning specialists with over 25 years' combined experience in the industry. Our staff are members of the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation (CIHT) and include Chartered Engineers (CEng) in transport planning

Our 'bread and butter' is providing the transport related information required as part of planning applications but we offer a wide range of services from the first conceptual stages of a scheme right through to discharging planning conditions once a planning application has been approved.

Our involvement can be as simple as providing a swept path or traffic count or more complex work to find an access solution to 'unlock' a constrained site, providing master-planning for major strategic developments or solely providing the technical reports required to support planning applications. We are experienced in working on relatively small schemes for single dwellings to major developments of all scales and sectors.

As an emerging consultancy we are able to provide a more flexible, responsive service than larger consultancies and provide value for money, whilst providing high quality work using our past experience at multi-disciplinary consultants. As solely Transport Planning specialists we welcome collaborating with other disciplines as part of a project team.

We are focused on not only gaining planning consent, but of doing so to limit obligations that can be placed on developments through the planning process and providing solutions that can be delivered once an application has been approved.

We are experienced in planning appeals and are always mindful that our work needs to be technically sound and justifiable.
