BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY.Our oil boiler didn't start. Suspected it might need bleeding. Cannon arrived & said it needed a new pump + 2 values (£400 in parts). A bill of £683 arrived which included testing and said all was working. BUT the same noise from the boiler. Recalled the same engineer who couldn't test as was GAS engineer he didn't know about oil boilers or bleeding them! Contacted Cannon and were told we needed to pay the bill before looking at the boiler again. T&Cs were more important than heating. Found another heating engineer. They diagnosed within 1/2 an hr that the problem was a blockage in the pipe from the tank to the boiler. After bleeding it the boiler fired up. I emailed Cannon and asked to speak to the MD. It took days for a reply which only came after I said I would leave a negative review if I didn't hear within 24 hrs. 48 hrs later £90 compensation was offered but only covered our additional costs and didn't take into account the £683 already paid unnecessarily.
