My name is Patsy Edmonds and I work as a counsellor in Guildford. My clients come from Woking, Guildford and other parts of Surrey. I work with individuals from the age of 17 years upwards. I qualified as a general and psychiatric nurse in South Africa and I have over 12 years nursing experience working in acute and chronic mental health hospitals. My time as a counsellor and working as a psychiatric nurse in the past has exposed me to the harsh realities/issues that a person can experience, due to death, divorce, redundancy, abuse, illness, relationships, low self-esteem, stress, anxiety, depression and addiction. This has given me an understanding of the reasons why you may be seeking counselling.
