About Us

Bliston Upholstery is owned and operated by Mr G Downes. He has been in the Upholstery business for over 45 years. Over that time he has built a well established and respected business and has 1000's of satisfied customers both locally and nationwide.

Our customers are mainly based in the West Midlands but have also included far and wide as Germany, Spain and Greece. Works can include refurbishing bars to three piece suites and motor homes.

We offer Furniture Re-Upholstery, Furniture Re-Padding and Furniture Cleaning services.

Furniture Re-Upholstery

We offer a full Furniture Re-Upholstery service. We can work on modern or antique, large or small and from three piece suites to an occasional chair. All can be carefully re-upholstered to an exceptionally high standard by our experienced craftsmen. We have a wide range of fabrics to choose from in the comfort of your own home.

Furniture Re-Padding / Re-Springed

We are also able to offer a furniture re-padding and re-springing service. Any furniture can be re-padded with new cushions, pads and if required re-springed. Foams and Fibre are all cut to any shape or size and are ready made to order. Cushion refills can be foam or fibre.

Furniture Cleaning

We offer a full furniture / flooring cleaning service. This includes three piece suites, carpets and leather furniture. The team have a specific member dedicated to cleaning. Any furniture or carpets can be cleaned to look as new and to a very high standard.

Mr. Downes has an extensive amount of experience in Hotel, Pubs and Restaurants refurbishments. Having spent over twenty years working for breweries and private landlords.
