Terrible experience

I unfortunately had a terrible experience with Caroline. We started the process to draw up plans for a two storey extension in April 2019 which took her a long time to finalise as she was busy with other clients by her own admission. This meant she didn't submit for planning approval until mid August but forgot about the bat survey which had to be done by the end of August. Caroline was aware of bats at our rural property after observing them herself. As a result of this, the council rejected planning and we now have to wait until May when bats are roosting and we can do the survey - delaying the whole project by a year! On top of this, when we asked for the plans Caroline became very hostile, asking for increasingly more money and when I refused to pay extra, threatened me with legal action. After standing my ground and not paying for services she hadn't yet, and couldn't perform, she agreed I could have the drawings upon receiving a final settlement.
