In December 2014, Noble's bar and restaurant, originally known as the star hotel Slaithwaite, was taken over by Alan Noble, together with his son Robert. The family have done a total refurbishment. The interior design has a contemporary feel but with original features, restored and emphasised

Nestled in the heart of the Colne valley, the "true grit" mill town of Slaithwaite is straddled by a viaduct and the distance hills of the pennies. Opened in 1957 as the star hotel, in its day it was always popular with the mill workers, for both Yorkshire and Lancashire folk.

Noble's bar and restaurant now has a cosy and welcoming ambiance, whilst living up to all your expectations as a traditional family owned, welcoming Yorkshire pub. With our award winning chef producing creative, imaginative and mouth-watering menu, finding only the best local produce.

A pub at heart, Noble's bar aims to cater for local drinkers and food lovers alike. Our atmosphere is informal and we want visitors to enjoy themselves. We like to hear the sound of a busy pub and like nothing more than the hustle and bustle that comes with a full house. If you want to just pop in for a drink or enjoy a meal from our daily specials, we'll be delighted to see you.

The menu is varied, but the emphasis is on simplicity, with all of our fresh ingredients coming from just across the valley and our team know the provenance of everything on the menu....feel free to ask them about anything you're curious about. The farmland around Noble's is an extension of our kitchens, with suppliers applying the same ethos, drive and attention to detail as our team does in cooking and serving it.
