Mark Durkin has launched the Newport branch in response to overwhelming demand from the people of Newport/Gwent and Cwmbran to receive the GreenThumb experience with their own lawns. From residential to commercial we will bring our experience and range of products to find the perfect blend to fit your lawn's individual needs. The GreenThumb method is proven to bring out the full potential of your lawn all year round. We recommend 4 treatments throughout the year to help provide your lawn with all the nutrients it needs to be healthy and weed-free. Each of our treatments is like the seasons, a natural progression throughout the year providing the necessary nutrients the lawn needs. Whether it be bringing your lawn back to life in the spring, making it healthy and strong throughout the summer, or suppressing the moss in the winter months, we have it covered. We also recommend a yearly scarification and hollow-tine aeration which will allow your lawn to breathe, by removing the thatch in the lawn and removing thousands of cores across the lawn, allowing important air and water to flow into the lawn's root system.

We also offer a range of treatments to help the lawn prevent any potential issues such as disease and pests. We are experts in dealing with such problems as leatherjacket and chafer grub issues. As the best line of defence is in preventing these issues arising in the first place, we use our treatments to create a strong healthy lawn which will be much less likely to experience such diseases.

We will be supporting local events including taking part in this month's Admiral's City of Newport Half Marathon, raising money for St David's Hospice. We have a team running in the race dressed as a giant panda and we hope to raise £500 to help such a great cause.
