If you are new to our Premium Ubisoft Escape Games, we highly recommend Escape the Lost Pyramid as your first VR Escape Room to try!
While there is no age restriction the VR puzzles may be too demanding for those under the age of 12.
People visiting our venue need to be aged 16 or over, or aged 12 or over if accompanied by a parent or guardian.
The headsets are designed more for use by adults, so they may be a loose fit for children.

All bookings must be made in advance. We do not offer walk-in games.

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer a refund for cancelled bookings. We can, however, rearrange bookings if we are given at least 5 days notice.
We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before your booked time slot, so we can check you in and prepare you for your session.
We always try our best to accommodate late arrivals but if you arrive past your booked time then it is possible your session will be shortened or even missed.
Yes. Our hosts can safely store any belongings behind the bar while you travel beyond this dimension.
Absolutely. Our staff will always provide guidance on which experiences will be most fun for people of different physical abilities.
Dystopia VR rooms are accessible for all standard-sized wheelchairs. All of our experiences have been modified to facilitate the best possible experience for all wheelchair-based headset users. We also have a specifically designated disabled toilet on site.
However, for now, the communal lift is currently awaiting repairs. Please accept our apologies. As soon as it is back in working order, we will let you know.
You are never truly locked in. There is always an unlocked door should you ever want to leave the room at any time. You can lift off your headset at any time. There are no tight spaces in our rooms.
All of our rooms are spacious and ventilated.
There are cameras and microphones in all our rooms so your overseer can monitor your progress and assist you when required. Some of our games also offer hints on a periodic basis which will pop up in- game, should you need a little nudge in the right direction.
We do not serve food. Headsets and grubby hands are often not the best combination. We are, however, based in the heart of Bradford city centre and there are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby.
Studies published by pediatric epilepsy experts emphasize the low risk of 3D viewing even for children with known photosensitive epilepsy (PSE). The low incidence of PSE is noteworthy because the number of hours devoted to 2D or 3D screen viewing and/or VR headset use by children worldwide has increased markedly over the last decade. The medical literature does not support the notion that VR headset use poses a risk for PSE.
